Born in Kristinehamn in 1927, Kurt's life was a testament to his unwavering commitment to social justice, community service, and family

Early life

As a young man, Kurt moved to Gothenburg with his family, where he pursued a career as a carpenter and repairman for SJ. He soon found his calling in working with children and young adults, serving as a vocational teacher for the social services in the mid-sixties. He was also a dedicated lay judge and supervisor, always eager to lend his wisdom and guidance to those in need.

Family

Kurt loved to travel and explore new places, but one of his favorite destinations was Sillviks Havsbad, where he and Signe had a summer cottage. He treasured his time with his family and was a devoted husband to his beloved Signe. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Siw and Arnold, and his grandchildren Anders, Martin and Henrik who were the pride and joy of his life.

Hobbies and Passions

But perhaps most of all, Kurt was a man with a heart full of love for his family and his community. He was a passionate supporter for social justice and spent much of his life working tirelessly to improve the lives of those around him. He was a committed member of the social democratic party and an inspiration to all who knew him.
